This stile is on a footpath from the lane to the A21 Pembury bypass (in the background). The lane from the A264 Pembury Road, stops at the Hamptons House. The lane used to carry on to Tonbridge Road. But due to the construction of the A21 Pembury bypass, this lane was cut in two. Instead a footpath is left.
