This house, now used as offices, was reputedly visited by Queen Elizabeth I in 1575. However a more likely connection is thought to be via an endowment to the Trinity hospital, school and almshouses. It has been suggested that this was the schoolmaster's house. The building is not in its original location, having been moved approximately 10 metres to the south in 1891. Grade II*.
