A very interesting old house at the end of a secluded lane. It dates from 1616 and is Grade II* listed http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-42798-wellwick-manor-ellesborough The most intriguing feature is the dark central mullioned stone window, which is an original feature, but is now blocked up.
