The nave and tower, by H M Wood, date from 1812, the High Victorian chancel from 1871. Nikolaus Pevsner wrote: "Still the Georgian embattled rectangle with an embattled W tower. Only the windows are of a two-light minimum Gothic character (the same as at Papplewick twenty-five years earlier). The gallery has gone."
