Hafal (Welsh for 'equal') is the principal organisation in Wales working with individuals recovering from severe mental illness, and their families. This single-storey building is their Newport headquarters. They are open to the public from 1pm to 4pm on Mondays, and Wednesdays-Fridays. Located in Probert Place, a short lane connecting Chepstow Road and Glebe Street, the premises were once occupied by Maindee Cottage Gospel Mission. UPDATE June 2012. The building is now occupied by Maindee Appliance Centre. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2987819
