The single line which runs into the Eccles terminus of Metrolink, here becomes double track. It then goes down the ramp seen in this view, and passes through a short tunnel under Ladywell Roundabout. It then emerges onto Eccles New Road (the A57), where it mingles with other traffic on its way to Manchester's city centre, via the Salford Quays area. Image
