Marina Road runs down the cliff linking Victoria Parade with Marina Esplanade supported by these brick arches, many of which have been turned into housing http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/155951. The railway used to run through tunnels in the cliff behind here, terminating in a station on the sea front.
