The church community at Caldy Valley is a joint venture between two former city centre churches (Methodist and United Reformed Church) now worshipping and working together as one. The original building opened in October 1984. Since 1994 the premises have been extended several times, including the completion of a new worship annexe in 1998. The premises are also the local community centre and are available for bookings.
