Buckstones Road is a route from Shaw into Saddleworth and beyond. It climbs for almost two miles from Milnrow Road (A663) to Oldham Road (A672). At its highest point it is 347 metres (1,139 feet) above sea level. This is a new sign situated at the junction of Buckstones Road and Oldham Road. The moorland hill in the background is Tame Scout.
