A mid-18C building according to the English Heritage listing details. It became Big D's Bikercafé Bar. Now I suspect it might be a restaurant or guest house - I didn't go up to the door to read the small notices. The Rose and Crown is still mentioned in numerous websites. Perhaps it is to become a restaurant using the old name. To the right there is a truncated mill chimney with a tree growing from it.
