Situated on the east side of Galleywall Road, built upon Cranham Road and Parfitt Road about late 1960's to early 1970's. Named after John Rennie (1761-1821) a bridge builder and canal architect. The estate consists of the following houses :- Barry (3 blocks) Sir John (1836-1918) engineer for Tower Bridge : Barlow (2 blocks) Peter (1809-1885) a railway engineer : Beamish - Richard (1798-1873) assistant engineer at the Thames Tunnel : Dodd - Ralph (1756-1822) a canal builder : Donkin (2 blocks as shown) Bryan (1768-1855) manufacturer of large rolls of paper : Fitzmaurice - Sir Maurice (1861-1924) engineer for the Rotherhithe Tunnel : Landmann - Colonel George (1779-1854), engineer for the London to Greenwich Railway : Trevithick - Richard (1771-1833) steam locomotive pioneer.
