It is at the junction of Lower Road and was named after the Rev Edward Blick, Rector of St Marys (Rotherhithe) 1835-1867. He arranged for the building of at least 4 schools and 2 churches in Rotherhithe, being a great friend of Sir William Maynard Gomm. The building far right stands on the site of the "Cock & Monkey" pub (86/92 Neptune Street) that itself stood on the site of the "Princess Alexandra" pub built in 1868.
