This temporary road marking on the B6374 on the western edge of Melrose is in connection with the 2009 Tour of Britain Cycle Race, Stage 3 Peebles to Gretna Green. 96 cyclists along with an entourage of motor cyclists and team cars passed through the town on 14/9/09. The letters on the road read - cyclescottishborders.com
