This view was taken looking in the opposite direction to Image, and shows the single track line on what used to be a double track bed. The white post on the right is a gradient marker. In these days of electric traction and passenger only services one wonders when the last time was that anyone consulted it and made use of the information! The tall open cage structure on the right is the drill tower of Frinton-on-Sea Fire Station.
