The much smaller tower to the left (just to the right of the oak tree) was a trial, http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=144433&mode=adv ; to the right, Peterson's Tower, built 1885 of concrete, http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=144435&mode=adv The builder intended his remains to be interred at the top; this was not allowed.
