This building, erected in 1841, stands next to the Sandys Street Presbyterian Church. The two buildings were designed by Thomas Duff, a Newry architect who also designed Newry Courthouse and many of Northern Ireland's Catholic Cathedrals, including those of Newry and Armagh. http://www.dia.ie/architects/view/1665
