Most hopper huts were built very cheaply of corrugated iron on a basic timber frame, but these two upmarket 'huts' each with six units are brick built walls and each with a chimney. Due to their flimsy construction and small footprint, hoppers huts are not usually suitable for modern reuses other than storage. The two substantial buildings are currently being converted in two dwellings.
