The second phase of the new Inner Relief Road scheme in the town started on 29th June 2009 and is expected to be completed by the end of January 2010. This photo, taken from the location of a new roundabout at Paton Street, shows the construction work in progress of a new link road up to Albert Place. Several buildings have been demolished to make way for the new road.
