At the time of this photograph in 2006, St.John's was deserted and boarded up as protection from vandals and the elements, it has a Norman south door and early 13th century arcades inside. Now (2010) rescued and cared for by The Churches Conservation Trust and The Friends of Throapham Church http://www.throaphamchurch.org.uk/
