The historic Stone Bridge in Saltney carries the A5104 over Balderton Brook. The bridge almost certainly dates to the time of the 18th century turnpike, built after the draining of Saltney marshes. There is a bench mark on the flat stone on the right of the photo - seeImage The Ford dealers, Evans Halshaw, have now relocated to the other side of Chester.
