Where the trees end is the main road west, Out Risbygate. Risby is the nearest village to the west, so Risbygate Street becomes Out Risbygate Street at the point where it passed through the gate in the town walls. This otherwise residential area of Victorian houses has former garage premises on the right corner. On the other corner there is a corner shop, now converted to a home, but previously a bicycle shop. At the top of Albert Street the road curves off into Albert Crescent. There seems to be a high risk that a motorist would miss the fact that there is a junction here, as the Give Way signs are completely hidden.
