With so many post offices having been forced to close in recent years, it is good to find this one in the northern suburbs of Worcester still operating. Outside is a real rarity, an Edward VIII post box. This is believed to be the only one in Worcester, and must date from around 1936, which was the year of his brief reign before he abdicated in favour of his brother, George VI.
