The end of the remaining trackwork on the Luton to Leighton Buzzard railway just north of the site of the former Dunstable Town station at the A505 road bridge. West of here the track has been mainly lifted. There are plans to utilize the trackbed for the Luton Dunstable Translink system which will use special buses capable of running both on their own track and on public roads. The Translink website is here http://www.translinkexpress.org.uk/index.htm
