Seen from the east, this is "conventional East Devon perpendicular" according to Cherry & Pevsner. "The tower is the best feature of an otherwise unremarkable Perpendicular church which was heavily restored in the C19" says the listed building description http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1328734&searchtype=mapsearch . Nonetheless it is graded II*.
