Looking north up Rowan Way from near the junction with Larch Grove. The No Golf sign at the middle right of the view is on the edge of a small grassed area shown on a 1993 map as 'Playground'. A local resident told me that the sign was erected after a couple of overenthusiatic young golfers using the grassed area for practice regularly overhit the ball, causing property damage.
