Once the site of Ringwood railway station, closed in 1967; later, the site of scrap merchants, now vacant. The road (known as Embankment Way to the North) has been barred with concrete blocks, presumably to deter fly-tipping; new office/warehouse/light industrial units to the left. Further information on the station and associated railway, including pictures before closure, can be found at http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/r/ringwood/index.shtml
