This marble fountain is set into a wall at the west end of High Street. The inscription reads:- TO THE MEMORY OF JOHN YOUNG M.B., C.M., DOCTOR IN EARLSTON 1884-1934 ERECTED BY MEMBERS OF ST JOHN’S CHURCH AND FRIENDS
