For many years, the Birdingbury Country Festival has taken place in the eponymous east Warwickshire village. Part fete, part country fair, part steam rally, in earlier years the event was centred on the village streets but now most of the events are held away from the public roads. This picture shows a steam-powered mobile sawing rig - steam engine, crane and circular saw. The engine (which is towable rather than self-propelled) is a Clayton & Shuttleworth.
