This stretch of verge is not mowed until the wild orchids here have finished flowering and seeding. See Image Added July 2015 Eventually I was prompted to supply the details by a fellow fan of botany. The orchids are Common Spotted (Dactylorhiza fuchsii) and Pyramidal (Anacamptis pyramidalis).
