The grass in the foreground is the picnic area off the A477 at the south side of the Cleddau Bridge. This provides a panorama at sunset of the length of Milford Haven, looking over the yacht moorings off Hobbs Point, past the Carr Jetty which protrudes from the former Royal Naval Dockyard, towards the oil refinery at Rhoscrowther on the skyline. Industrial sites often scar a landscape, here it seems to add to the scene.
