Rothwell Castle remains

This ancient pillar, apparently the remains of a stairway, forms part of Rothwells heritage. Weathering is eroding the structure away with the passing of time. Future generations will not be able to see the remains of this 11th century small castle or fortified manor house. Ref. Image
