According to a history of Teignmouth, Yannon Towers was formerly called Hennon Towers. Before that it was known as Mount View, one of West Teignmouth's great houses and associated with the Moir family. Now it appears divided into apartments, and looks in need of TLC. Although the turret appears on the skyline from some directions, the grey render renders the house almost invisible in distant views. It can just be made out in Image, above centre.
