Spoilt for choice in crossing this stream at Jurston. This is on the Mariners' Way, a trackway which skirts the edge of Dartmoor linking farms and hamlets, and ultimately the Bristol and English Channels, and the presence of stepping stones and footbridge either side of the ford suggests its importance as a route.
