Shop front on the eastern edge of the shopping precinct. Chairs and tables are out in front of Aroma, a hot and cold drinks bar, and one of the 50 hippos which were designed especially for the Hippo Hunt is on display by the front window > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1328339. The town was busy on the last Saturday in May, the last day of the Hippo Hunt, the aim of which was to celebrate and promote all organisations, businesses, schools and groups in North Walsham. 50 hippos of different sizes were on display, in the streets or in shop windows, during half term week in May. They were painted by school children and teachers, by charities, professional organisations and local artists. The event was inspired by the Go! Elephants trail which took place in Norwich in summer 2008. On the 31st of May all hippos will be auctioned off in aid of local charities.
