On High Street. The building was built in approx 1340 AD as an H type timber framed building as five cottages. Later in the mid 1500's AD The cottages were converted into a Coaching Inn and an Inglenook Fireplace was installed, which was re-opened in 2001. The building has seen many changes throughout the years although the original timbers are all still intact and in full. See view.http://www.thecrownseal.co.uk/index.htm for more details.
