Looking west from the cattlegrid at the top of Fairyland Road, near the site of the Roman camp at Blaen-cwmbach. The Glyncorrwg Mineral Railway, (Parson's Folly Tramroad) built by Charles Strange and Robert Parsons between 1839 and 1843 came through a cutting at the left of the picture, in the middle distance, passing near to the house and then dropping by means of a self-acting incline to the Neath Canal at Aberdulais Basin.
