Until fairly recently this shop was an Alldays convenience store which also housed Holbury Post Office. Removal of the Alldays signage reveals an old signboard in which 'SPERRINGS' can be seen on the front and the words Newsagent and Post Office on the side. The post office is now housed within the Image a short distance along the main road. The postbox, a large Elizabeth II-reign specimen, is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 11:30am on Saturdays.
