This Kidderminster pub is in the town centre, but it's a bit tucked away. The Ring Road now blocks this end of Worcester Street, which ends in a turning circle. The building itself dates from 1888 and probably the pub does too. Sometimes it's known as just the Boars Head, sometimes as The Taphouse, and sometimes as The Boars Head Taphouse. It obviously was at one time next to or near the brewery which supplied it, but that has long gone. It should be said, before anyone jumps up and down, that the pub doesn't use an apostrophe in Boars. The pub has a website but this doesn't seem to have been updated for a long time, but the pub is very much alive and, as can be seen, was awaiting a beer delivery when the photograph was taken. http://thetaphouse.tripod.com/#
