This statue of Rupert Brooke stands in Jubilee Garden [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1305424] in Rugby. For a close-up view see [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1305439]. Brooke was born, raised and educated in Rugby. He was a friend of the Bloomsbury poets and is best known for his war poems. He died of septicaemia and is buried in an olive grove on the island of Skyros, Greece.
