A nearby sign reads "The Althorp Estate. You are welcome to walk along the Carriage Drive to access the adjoining footpath CF13 which crosses the Carriage Drive. Please keep your dogs on a lead. No horses or bicycles please. The route is not a public right of way. Thank you."
