The construction of the skate park in Weymouth Avenue was only completed a few hours earlier and on a breezy Saturday morning hundreds of people came to see the park and other skaters in action for the first time (officially). To the backdrop consisting of the apartments next door to Dorchester police station, one of the more skilled skaters shows off excellent elevation in one of his jumps. The jump he is performing is one of the basic tricks known as an Indy Grab or Indy Air where the boarder grabs the edge of his board where his toes are pointing while he is in mid air.
