The rail line to the new Donnington freight depot has now been relaid and is due to come into full use again in late April or early May 2009. The track was lifted in 1999 when the link to the Army Depot at Donnington was declared redundant. See the line in the early 60's shortly after the through line to Stafford was closed.Image
