Bus services that turn around at The Spires shopping centre have to regain the High Street to resume their journeys via Salisbury Road. Here we see DLD191 (a Dennis Dart with Plaxton body) poking its nose out as the driver waits for a gap in the traffic, before heading to Highgate Wood on the convoluted 234 route. The Barclays bank behind looks smart with its brick and stonework.
