Tram No. 101 has just arrived at the Malin Bridge terminus. Sheffield's trams remain amongst the most comfortable and impressive of all the new generation trams running in the UK. They are also the most powerful, as they have to contend with Sheffield's many hills. This tram is in the second and current (2009) livery used by Stagecoach, who operate the system. Prior to Stagecoach taking over the system, all the trams were in a rather drab two-tone greyish livery. At that time this vehicle was numbered 01.
