At the time of writing this the website http://www.travelodge.co.uk/search_and_book/hotel_overview.php?hotel_id=33 totally overenthusiastically stated that Hemel Hempstead railway station was 0.5 mile away. By my reckoning it is 1.0 mile away as the crow flies, more if not a crow...
