Two large ponds in this field, and the line of footpath Oldcastle 1, appear to contradict the OS 1:25000 map (which shows a single pond towards the southern end of the field, and path passing straight across the position of the more northerly pond). In fact the footpath now seems to follow an S-shaped route around the two ponds. Odd, because the ponds seem well established, but maybe the northern one is newer than it looks.
