The (former) location of this postbox is shown in Image It was installed in the Spring of 2008 on a trial basis as part of a wider plan to cope with an anticipated rise in postal traffic due to an expected increase in the numbers of tourists to Northumberland. Unfortunately, it was little used by either visitors or residents and so was removed towards the end of the year.
