The combination of old stonework and corrugated iron is a common, and not unfelicitous one, in Wales. The old structures were built to last, as can be seen by the size of some of the stones, but the newer material had the advantage of being quick and easy to utilize, and is beginning to acquire its own kind of antiquity.
