The watermill, now converted and known as 'The Old Mill', stands centre-left, with Windsor Hill House, right, in Windsor Hill Lane. This was one of the grain mills supplying the needs of Shepton’s townsfolk in the 19th century and was worked by the Allen family and later by members of the Davis family, until Shepton Mallet Waterworks purchased the water rights in 1877
