Drumminis was formed in 1841. It was originally known as Hamilton's Bawn. The first minister was Rev Henry Kidd (1842-62) and the church was built during his ministry. The congregation was united with Redrock on 1 July 1924, under the new ministry of Rev Thomas Bole. A new gallery was added to the church in 1974, with seating for an extra fifty people. Membership has risen from fifty to ninety families in the past fifty years. (I am indebted to P Flannagan for the above information)
